Vehicle Detail
2003 VW Jetta TDI Wagon turbo diesel, 121k miles dark green metalic exterior with tan cloth interior. Engine: 1.9l 4cyl TDi turbo diesel direct injected intrcooled, 90hp and 150 torque. Transmission: 5 speed manual FWD. Std equipment: 4 wheel disk brakes w ABS and traction control, Front, side and roof airbags w seatbelt pretensioners, roof rack, CD Radio cassette Monsoon audio, and many extras. Fuel milage: gets from 38-55mpg, 500-700 miles on a full tank of diesel; it was hard to fit 13 galons into the tank when empty to the last red line. Service: done at 119k miles when I bought the car 2 months ago: New Timing belt kit complete w water pump, rollers and drive belt, replaced engine oil and filter, replaced air intake and cabin filters, replaced coolant, power steering fluid, A/C refrigerant, New front and rear suspension Struts and Shocks, New brake pads front and rear, New all 4 tires w new spare. For sale by LAND AUTO PRO, used car dealer and rebuilder in the state of GA. I'm working mainly on VW's and Audi's. I bought this car from an insurance auction with a salvage title. It had the right front corner damaged and I replaced: right fender, suspenssion, front bumper, radiator support and hood. The damage was local to the right corner, no engine or drivetrain damage, radiators were not damaged also. Car was a run and drive off the lot. I've got the car inspected by the GA DMV inspectors and have issued a Rebuild GA title, which can be registered for use on the road. Salavage titles cannot be registered, only licensed rebuilders can put back on the road a car that was made salvaged by the insurance company, after the proper safety inspection has been passed. I have been driving the car now for a couple of thousand miles and the car drives nice, no vibration, no wired noises, goes up to a 100mph without problems, A/C is really cold, just done the maintenance that should go for the next 80-100k miles. There is some wear and tear arround the car that is just normal for this age and miles, but it is not excessive, like some spots on the drive seat, shifter boot wear, soft touch paint comes off in some places that are used the most, there are some minor dings and scratches on the paint. The glox box is missing the lock cylinder, looks like it got stock at some point and it was removed by the prev owner; otherwise it closes nicely. Overall the car is clean, smells good. drives nice and with the service just performed it should go for another 100k miles. These engines go easy for 300-500k miles w proper maintenace, that's why the value of this particular car is always going to be on the high side. If you have any other questions please ask. Test drives available with appoitment. GA residents will pay 6-7% sales tax. Out of state customers won't be charged sales tax.On Jun-22-11 at 16:29:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Because I get so many questions about the reserve I have to make clear that the reserve is private and can change or be removed. The asking price for the car locally is $9.800, but the reserve is set lower than that. If the car sells locally I will end the auction early. The title can be trasnfered in any of the 50 states since this is a Rebuild Title. Your state might issues a clean or rebuild title depending on the DMV rules in your local state. I have sold cars pretty much in every area and there was no issue with transfering this type of title.
