A fraduelent bidder selected the "Buy It Now" option and ended the auction... For those who have been watching and bidding, sorry about that. I would like to reiterate that I will not deal with dishonest people, so PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU INTEND ON PAYING FOR THIS CAR AND ARRANGING FOR PICK-UP IN HOUMA, LOUISIANA. IF YOU MEET THE RESERVE OR BUY IT NOW YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING FULL PAYMENT. I am selling this very rare and cool 1960 Renault Dauphine with 20,000 original miles! Please read this description in full before placing a bid. I will describe this little guy to the best of my ability, but I do not know a whole lot about classic cars. She is in VERY good shape and for the year I cannot believe that the condition is as good as it is. I will list the goods, bads and unknowns. Please call me with questions before bidding. If you bid you will be expected to pay for the car and arrange pick-up at my residence in Houma, LA 70364. If you do not have the means to pick this car up in Houma or have a transportation company pick it up, then please do not waste my time... Not trying to sound harsh, but it does cost money to list, so I want to be sure that the winning bidder follows through. This car is a 1960 so it is for sale as is where is with no warranty provided. Now that we are through the non-fun stuff, lets talk about the car. FIRST: The car is not in running condition. The engine is not currently installed. This would be a great father/son project as this engine is very easy, small & light! I do have the engine (which has been looked at and painted and is ready to be installed). I offer no guarantee that the engine is ready to run, but it looks to be in good shape... I also have the mounting brackets, muffler, radiator (which looks great and has been re-painted, windshield wipers, and tons of other parts. I think everything is here (plus) to get the little guy running again, but cannot guarantee 100%. Please check my feedback (100% Positive). I do not lie and take pride on my positive feedback from people I have sold to. You will see that I have sold a handful of cars over the years and I am honest! GOODS: The body is excellent. The interior is all original. The tires are new. I have current registration & a clear Louisiana title! I have the original invoice (Sold in 1959 in Houma, LA), the original owners manual and the original repair guide. The little guy is a definite conversation piece and true history... The photo's will speak for themselves. Bads: The engine needs to be re-installed. The interior is not perfect, but is really cool & original. The paint looks good as is but to really make the little guy shine she could use a nice finish coat & high gloss clear (your choice) Unknowns: I am fairly sure EVERYTHING needed to make this little guy go is here, but I cannot guarantee that. I am not a mechanic. I bought the car from a local guy who is very knowledgable and he bought it from the original owner some years ago...
