My brother in law bought it from the original owner in Destin Florida in 1984 and did a restoration on it. The car had an rebuilt engine and overdrive transmission installed at 48,000 miles. The original carburettor was replaced with a more reliable weber 2 barrel downdraft carb. The car was also repainted with Imron paint. It was put in dry storage when he passed away in 1994 and was put back on the road in 1999. I installed an electronic ignition system on it then. This was my daily driver until last year. I installed a new convertible top, fuel pump and gas tank on it. It had a new battery a couple of months ago. The car has always been in the panhandle region of Florida so it has not seen any salty northern roads. The car has never been wrecked nor has any rust been repaired. It comes with the factory jack and lug wrench.The car has a few small stone chips and dings that can be seen in the photos. The car drives well but needs the kingpin bushings and the drivers door handle replaced. The windscreen is also cracked and It needs new upholstery. This is a very solid mostly original car. I have a couple of boxes of spare used parts that are included. These include front suspension parts, an alternator, some spare gauges and various small items.
