I'm ready to scrap it but am giving it one last try. If you buy it from eBay, it will cost $60 in fees. This would be a great car for someone to work on and get running again! I'd be willing to sell parts from it as well, if you ask nicely. I am the original owner of this well maintained and well loved 1992 GMC Jimmy with only 136K miles on it. I started having problems starting it on June 14th, 2010. I believe it needs a new fuel pump to get it running again, but that's for you to figure out. You'll have to get it inspected once you get it running again. In June 2009, I was hit in the driver's side door and I came away without a scratch. I replaced the door and the fenders (which were rusted through) at that time. I painted them a different shade of blue then the rest of the truck since the original color was not available. I believe the door pillar was bent due to the impact, so the door does not sit perfectly. I put on over 10,000 miles since I replaced the door and did not see any uneven tire wear, so I'm assuming the frame is not bent. Since the pictures were taken, I've siphoned all the gas and removed the gas tank shield, which is now in the back. Some Facts about it: Has never burned oil Interior: Well kept, non smoker. Exterior: Passenger door rusted at bottom Full Spare Tire: Never used Synthetic Oil freshly changed at 135K on 5/2010 New Heater Core 09/2009 New Alternator 04/2009 New Rebuilt Power Steering pump on 04/2009 Muffler and tailpipe replaced on 08/2009 Battery: 05/2006 Rear brake lines replaced on 12/2009 A/C upgraded to R134a in 08/2009 New Water Pump 03/2006 New Gas Tank:11/2003 New Michelin LTX Tires P235/75R15 on 01/2008 at 116K, only 20K on tires and they look like new. Problems December 2009: Shift linkage to the transmission needs adjustment or replacement because the gear shifter will not move down to 2 or 1. This is only due to the rusted linkage since the truck was shifting fine. March 2010: 4WD light stays on but truck is not in 4WD and can not engage in 4WD unless light goes off. Cruise control stopped working in May 2010. Front brake pads are low. Rear defroster has not worked in 15 years.
