nice project car. 84 monte carlo ss lot of body work done 500 big block rebuilt tranny runs great this car is stupid fast On Jun-16-11 at 16:24:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Since listing this vehicle I have had many questions. First of all although it looks like one it is NOT AN SS, I listed it as that because I thats what I was told when I bought it and now I can't change the title on the listing. I have only had it a week or so and found out it needs more than I can afford or have the time to fix. I'm not mechanically inclined and need a car thats good to go. If you can do the work yourself its really not expensive. This is what I know about the car. The motor is out of a caddy and runs good, and I'm told its an oldsmobile tranny. I drove it down the road a while and its got nuts for sure. The tranny needs a pan gasket and the vacuum hose needs replacing. It has no exhaust. The driver door is badly rusted but works fine, passenger door was hit and dented, needs to be replaced cuz it doesnt open from the outside. Tires are P205 70 R14 and have some wear. I have a clear title says 54000 miles actual, but the motor has been switched so I don't know how that works.
