Vehicle Detail

This is a 1986.5 Porsche 928S. I purchased it about two years ago and started going over the whole car. I've had the fenders doors hood and hatch off for paint, the paint is a Porsche Meteor Gray. I removed the side glass and quarter windows before paint as well. I had the sides and quarters tinted 15% legal tint for SC before I installed them. I installed new carpet, recovered the seats, door panels, and dash, except for the pod, which is an overlay. I have another pod that I striped down but couldn't get the cover to look right. You can have it and my left over material if you wish. It has new weather stripping for the sun roof and rear hatch, and new beading between the bumpers and body. Also a new headliner which is sagging, wrong glue I think, which could be easily fixed. It has new rotors and pads all around, new intake gaskets, and new plugs and wires and most of the vacuum lines. New rear muffler bypass, I have the stock one that you may have. I painted the calipers and it has a good set of 17" Porsche rims from a 2000 Boxster with very good Continentals Contact2 Z-rated tires. I have the stock rims which you can have as well. I also have about everything you need to do a timing belt change, new waterpump, new timing belt, flywheel lock, tensioner gasket, and tension adjustment gage along with a nice manual to take you through the process. This car is being sold as is where is with no warranty. The car is not completed at this time. I have health issues that prevent me from doing anything else to the car. Things that it needs or are not working are the A/C, its all there but I didn't get to it and can't do it now, belly pan needs installed, brake wear light and ABS light are on (could be I didn't get them hooked up right) and if there is something else its slipped my mind at this time. If you have any questions please ask early through E-Bay, so I can answer them before the auction is over. If you wish you can leave me your phone number and a time to reach you and I will call you. If you are in the area and wish to see the car that is fine, just contact me. I don't have a buy it now in mind, but will entertain offers. Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. I changed the injector seals when I had the intake off for paint, and changed the transmission fluid and filter. The person I bought the car from said he had the timing belt and transmission serviced at some time during his ownership but couldn't remember when. When I changed the transmission fluid and filter it it was like new. So I don't believe it had many miles on it, nor do I think the timing belt has many miles on it but it does have some age on it. Some say age doesn't matter others do, so that's why I mentioned that I have what you need to change the belt. I have a set of warning decals that go with the car, the ones on it are good but bought these anyway, a new voltage regulator, alternator works well, again just buying stuff on e-bay(bad habit), an uncut key, a set of chips which will up the hp 25-30, a can of factory wheel paint to touch up the wheels(a couple of small spots on one wheel) the owners manual and relay fuse chart. And I have some other small stuff that I'll put in a box and give the new owner. I'll be happy to help with shipping, at buyers cost of course. Someone asked if the car ran, Yes it starts at the drop of the key and drives very well. Just a few things I couldn't get done, and I don't want to let it set for what could be up to a year.
