***I have two other cars that I am selling as well. A 1983 240D with no engine and 1982 300D*** The reason I am selling this amazing machine is that my attention is now in making my business grow so I have to let go of my passion with these cars. The car in this listing is a 1983 Mercedes 300D. I bought this car a few months ago, drove it from Colorado to South Florida with no problems and have been using it as a daily driver here. I Put new Pirelli P4's on the car along with new headlight bezels, new foglights, a new ball joint and lower control arm, new shocks, new front brakes, the A/C compressor was changed but the mechanic didn't install the belt and charge the system but there are no leaks and the compressor is good. The vacuum system is working with locks and everything which is very rare in these cars. All maintenance has been done. Transmission flush, oil changes, and a tire rotation since I've had it. One problem that this car has is that it tends to over rev if you give the car too much gas off the line, other then that it has no problems in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or reverse. The paint is original but the car is from Colorado so it has some rust in the wheel wells but nothing going into the car. The car has a few dents and dings but the paint still shines. It was brought to my attention by a potential buyer in a previous listing that the mileage in this car is also incorrect. I removed the listing for that reason as I don't want to trick someone as I was tricked. I do not know the current mileage but apparently the speedometer is the wrong one for the car.
