Vehicle Detail
THIS IS A VERY NICE 2002 TRANS AM WS6 WITH A 6 SPEED TRANSMISSION AND T-TOPS. THE CAR HAS ONLY 8,630 MILES, IT WAS GARAGED KEPT AND TRADED IN FOR A 2003 MUSTANG COBRA WITH ONLY 1,600 MILES. THE CAR IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND IS FLAWLESS. THE VEHICLE COMES WITH A CUSTOM CAR COVER, AS WELL AS TWO SETS OF KEYS, AND EVERYTHING YOU SEE IN THE PICTURES. LS1 Engine WS6 Ram Air The WS6 package added a "Ram Air" intake to the LS1 engine. This feature fitted the hood and engine with an induction device that used the natural airflow during driving to force more air through the engine's intake manifold as the car achieved higher speeds. Performance According to "Motor Trend," the LS1 engine could generate 310 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 340 ft.-lbs. of torque at 4,000 rpm. Depending on the transmission, the LS1-equipped Trans Am earned an estimated 18-19 miles per gallon (mpg) during city driving conditions and 26-28 mpg when driven on the highway. The WS6 Ram Air package increased horsepower to 325 and torque to 350 ft.-lbs. Both engines redlined at 6,000 rpm. The Auto Channel website tested an LS1-equipped convertible and accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in 6.0 seconds, hit the quarter-mile in 15 seconds with a speed of 96.6 miles per hour (mph), and reported a maximum speed of 155 mph. The Modern Racer website reports that the LS1 engine with the WS6 intake could hit an estimated top speed of 165 mph, race from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds (with the manual transmission; 6.0 seconds with the automatic) and record a 13.4-second quarter mile at 106.2 mph
