Up for auction is a 1968 pontiac gto. It is all pretty much original except for the paint,my brother had it repainted 13 years or so ago. I bought this car 10years ago from my brother who had owned it for 16 years. The car ran and drove when I bought it and i have n not driven one mile since purchased it. As seen in the photos i have purchased $3500 worth of Year one and Original parts group restoration parts. The car is in great shape, doors trunk, hood are tight, never hit or wrecked, the only rust was below the rear window and i bought the year one replacement panel. the interior is original 1968, and pretty good still the only thing thats bad was the driver seat and console door dash top. i bought this car to restore. i believe the numbers match on this car and the i would almost bet the 80k miles were original.all the trim on car looks great,hide away headlights original and work perfect, all glass is good. the car shows very little use rear bumper has been bent or dented. the car has a 400 with auto trans. the intake and carb are not original but i do have the original air cleaner and intake. the car still has the original selling dealer plate frames on it front and rear. i cannot upload enough pics of parts puchased and how straight the body and clean the car is. this is a great restoration project or investment.
