Hi and thanks for stopping by our, "no reserve', auction for this, "fun in the sun", 1998 VW Cabrio GLS, convertible. Volkswagen's Cabrio is good fun. A four-seat convertible with simple good looks, spry performance and premium sound, the Golf-based drop-top is the perfect summertime cruiser. Road feel is superb, and the thick four-spoke steering wheel falls readily to hand. At high speeds, the VW feels solid and sure; this is a car that will get you speeding tickets, if you're not careful. Handling is excellent, in the Volkswagen tradition. The miles are 146,848 at this time. The, white, exterior still has a nice shine to it with some normal wear. The, tan, leather, interior is in nice condition. All power items are in working order at this time. Features a, 115hp, 2.0L, 4-cylinder engine that runs strong and 5-speed, transmission that shifts right on point. This baby comes with an AM/FM stereo with CD changer in the trunk, a glass rear window with defogger, an anti-theft system, power windows, power mirrors, heated seats, cruise control, rear cargo net, fold down rear seat and much more! We have the factory floor mats, which are in great shape, I forgot to put them in the car for the pictures. The tires are in really good conditon, as you can clearly see in our detailed pictures. The rubber rides on 14" alloy wheels. Safety features found on this Cabrio include roll bar protection, 4-wheel disc brakes, ABS and front and side air bags. With its fun-to-drive character, the VW Cabriolet is our choice! Few scratches/chips around it and some paint work thats hardly noticeable. The convertible top is now manual due to the hydraulics not working. Purchasing an older vehicle, such as this, makes good financial sense. You're able to avoid the steep depreciation rates that occur with brand new vehicles. This essentially gives you the advantage of getting a pre-owned vehicle for less money than when it was new. All of our vehicles are sold with titles that are free and clear of any and all liens. You will receive a clean title.
