This 1981 Corvette has all the features you would want in a car- low miles, nice shiney red paint, leather bucket seat interior and best of all, a 4 speed manual transmission. It was a Texas car- I just brought it home to Iowa on a trade. It is Red with Black Leather interior/no rust anywhere as it was from Texas. The car has a nice paint job, only flaws I can find are small rock chips - very nice paint job, it really shines nice in the sunshine. Everything works, I have been driving it around town and Boy does it get alot of Looks! It has a 350 V8, 4 speed manual shift. Air Conditioning works great/blows cold air. The car has good power and can really throw you back in the seat if you step on it. Tires are excellent, aluminum wheels are nearly perfect - with no road rash or scuffs. Hideaway headlights work great, motors work up and down. the Odometer shows 38,550 miles. pedals have very little wear, i can see small amount of wear on lower LH corner of the clutch pedal but that is all which helps to coroborate the low miles. there is no engine noise at all- smooth sounding dual exhaust and shifts/drives nicely. i like how it hugs the road and does not wander at all- easy to drive straight down the road. This car can go straight to your local cruise night and car show- no work required! Black leather bucket seat interior, black carpet shows some (however very minor) sun fading but overall nice shape. This is a real head turner! Brand new battery AM/FM Cassette radio power antenna removable T tops- painted body color on the outside therefore almost hard to tell at first glance that this is a T top. most of these Vettes have a chrome or glass top therefore this one is slightly different. Good tires- nearly new. very little wear. this is a car that has been pampered all of its life. Drive it anywhere! The engine may not present itself very well as it has never had a decent cleaning done to it. The bottom of the car (floors and frame) are in great shape- very solid with no rust. I tried to snap some photos of the bottom of the car but as it sits really low it is hard to get a good picture of the frame and/or floors. I have had some problems with the radio antenna as it is a power antenna and sometimes the motor doesn't stop running. the hazard switch is not working.
