I'm looking to sell my Alero. The car is a 2000 with the 2.4L Twin Cam 4 cylinder engine, which makes pretty good power, while still making good gas mileage. It currently has 149,xxx miles on it, and is a daily driver to work and back. This car is pretty heavily optioned for this year, as it has a 6 way power drivers seat, power locks, windows, and mirrors. It also has a CD/Tape player and the factory 6 speaker upgraded audio system. Car also comes with an alarm/remote starter. This car has been maintained ahead of schedule, as I'm a General Motors technician. Oil changes are always done with Mobil 1 oil. The tranny was just serviced (new fluid and filter) about 6,000 miles ago, and the fuel filter was replaced in the fall. Spark plugs were replaced last year with GM RapidFire plugs. The only after market parts on the car is the K&N air filter, and HID low beam head lamps. I just put new tires on the car in November of 2010. Since I work for a Chevy dealer, when ever something went on the car, it was replaced with Genuine GM replacement parts. This car is equipped with GM wheel locks, and yes, this includes the key. The price is firm, as the car is in really good condition for the year, and miles. I'm looking to sell ASAP, as I'm purchasing a new vehicle. Also, a few random extra parts I have for the Alero will be included in the auction. Off the top of my head, this includes a new master window switch, cruise control switches, and a few spark plug to coil pack boots. I'm not sure why people keep offering me $1,000 or less for the car. Its in really good shape mechanically and physically for the year, and mileage. I know your trying to get a deal, but I'm not going to rip myself off. Thank you for your understanding.
