Hi, you are looking at my 2005 Black Volvo S60 AWD. This is the car my wife would drive to work. It has always been garage parked both at my home at night, and during the day in Chicago in a parking garage. We have babied this car from the day we brought it home from the dealer new. I had all of the windows tinted with the exception of the front windshield. I did this because we bought this car when we had our first child, and I did not want any sun in the baby's face. It is a normal shade of darkness, and I have never been bothered by the police because of it. I think it really makes the car look better, as it does not have that fish tank look. I have had all of the scheduled Volvo service perfromed at Grossinger Volvo in Chicago. In addition, I have the regular maintenance done at Hubbard Woods Motors in Winnetka, IL. The have built their reptation working only on Volvo's. I just had the front and rear brakes replaced, and a full service as well on 05/16/2011. The total was $1,211.53. Last fall I had four new Yokohama 215/55/R16 H4 tires installed at Ingleside Tire and Auto. The tires were installed at 46,544 miles and the bill was $559.47. I have all of the reciepts posted in the Photobucket link. This car needs nothing. The reason I am selling it is our family has grown, and we need a larger car for weekend trips. This car would be an awesome car for a daughter heading to college. This car has the built in safety cage Volvo is famous for. It has front and side air bags. It has antilock brakes. The AWD all wheel drive feature makes this car sure-footed as a billy goat. It also has a 12 year factory corrosion warranty from Volvo which does not expire until 2017. There is no reason this car will not go 200,000 miles. These cars are built to last. There is a paint chip on the front bumper. I was going to put some touch up paint on it, but I did not want to seem like I was hiding it. The rear passenger seat on the drivers side has a 1/2" tear. Other than these two items, the car has no blemishes. In the time we have owned the car it was involved in a minor crash in 2010. Another car turned into the drivers door. We had it expertly repaired at Inter Pro Auto in Lake Bluff Illinois. They specialize in repairing high end imports. It is not uncommon to see Aston Martin, Ferrari, and Porsche autos being repaired at their shop. They did a perfect repair. I believe they only had to replace the door skin. You cannot tell by looking at the door, but I want to be completely forthcoming. In 2005, a car bumped us at a light and scratched the paint on the car. It was no big deal, and we never had any repair made to the car. There are no suprises with this car. My kids call it our moms race car. It is much more fun to drive than the minivan they get toted around on weekends in. I require Paypal for payment, as I am paranoid of being scammed with a conterfit casher's check. I don't want to screw around. If you don't have the money to buy the car, please don't bid. I will not finance anything. I will not ship the car to your Nigerian uncle, I will not accept goats as payment. I reserve the right to end the auction early.
