1987 Ford Mustang LX Notchback – 20,000 original miles! This is a very rare mustang. It is an original 5.0 v8 car. It took me a very long time to find one this clean. What makes this even rarer is that it is 1 of 962 in this color combination. It is the first year of notchbacks in the 87-93 body style. Also, it has the rare option configuration power door locks but has manual windows. Everything works on the car. As you can see in the pictures, I am a meticulous person and have made sure that this car is in the condition I would be proud to display at local shows. Often pictures make something look cleaner than it actually is, but this car really is that clean in and out. It would be difficult to find any make or model vehicle at this age that’s remained as-intact. It’s a true dream car. Bid with confidence! Here are the details of the car: BODY: Very straight with all VIN labels attached. The paint is excellent. It has a great shine. All of the exterior window trim is in perfect shape. All of the glass is in excellent shape. This car is in absolutely stunning condition. It has no underbody jacking damage, and absolutely no rust! TIRES: Practically new with at least 90% tread remaining. TRANSMISSION: Equipped with a Hurst short throw shifter. Shifts smoothly. Clutch is in excellent shape. ENGINE: The motor has very minor bolt-ons, which include BBK unequal length shorty headers, 1.7 roller rockers, x-pipe and flowmaster exhaust. I have recently put on new Ford Motorsports hoses, wires, cap rotor, and ignition coil. All fluids have been changed. The car has ZERO leaks! The engine runs strong and smooth. INTERIOR: Non-smoker/adult driven. Gray cloth is perfect with no cuts or stains. Headliner is excellent. The center console is in perfect shape. The map light and ashtray door both function, which is rare. I just installed an Alpine cda-9887 deck, Alpine KTP-445 mini amp (which is very small and fits behind the deck), and replaced the door and deck lid speakers with CDT carbon fiber speakers (which sound great). The face of the speedometer has been changed to the Ford Motorsports 140mph version. PAPERWORK: The original window sticker and all the books are included with this car. CAR COVER: I have a brand new custom made Covercraft Tan Flannel Car Cover for when it’s stored in the garage. Overall, this car is awesome. I HATE to have to sell this. I looked long and hard for one in this condition and as close to stock as possible. But I have recently relocated back east for school and won’t be back home for at least another 2 years. The car drives great...smooth and quick. If you're looking at this, you probably already know about these cars. They are getting more and more difficult to find, let alone in this shape. This is not a fire sale. So please don't make low offers. And sorry but I am not interested in any trades. The only reason I am selling this car is that I need the money. To answer a few questions I have been getting. Yes this was originally an AC equipped car. I have removed the pump, condenser, lines, and installed a Ford Motorsports ac delete bracket to clean up the engine bay. I have all of the original ac parts which could easily reinstalled. And since this car never see's the rain or any bad weather, I have removed the wiper blades and wiper motor, to also clean up the looks of the car. I also have the original parts which could be reinstalled. I also copy and pasted the last part of my add from another add. Cashiers checks, money orders, or cash is all acceptable.
