As you can see this isn,t a austin healey but midget with a bugeye ft. end, but it has rollup windows and a locking trunk 1973 MG Midget/ Bugeye Sprite; This was a total restoration 2 years ago, the whole car was media blasted. The motor has roughly 1000 miles since it was rebuilt. It burns no oil and runs great. Eng 1275The block and head were hot tanked, new pistons, rings, rod/crank bearings, valves, valve guides, cranks was trued and tested for cracks, new oil pump. All new gaskets. It has a pentrex pointless ignition and flame thrower coil. The Carbs re rebuilt and has a custom high flow filter assay. New exhaust. Trans The Transmission is a datsun 5 speed with Rivergate conversation. New master cylinder, new slave cylinder, new lines. No more screaming down the HWY in 4th gear, I highly recommend this conversation if you have a MG Midget. SuspensionFront king pins were rebuilt, if there was a bushing on the car its been replaced. It has 350lbs competition springs up front the lowered in the rear. 5/8 sway bay and new poly bushings. New tires and Minlight rims. THe front Lever shocks were rebuilt and tie rods replaced. Rebuilt disk brakes front, new rotors, rebuilt drones in the rear, new shoes, The front end is practically new. Electrical New wiring harness, new gauges, has fuel gauge (not hooked up) 8 1/2 GAL poly fuel tank in trunk. Speedo was Recalibrate and zeroed to 00 miles. Wipers work, turn signals work, brake lights work, horn works, heater works, new battery. Body Front tilting bonnet is a competition fiberglass Bugeye unit. New brakes and turn signal lenses, new carpet, Miata Seats, New top, aluminum dash, New floor pans. Car was painted 2 years ago and, I would say 8 out of 10. The car is used as a daily driver. I tried to keep the list short so I know there's more new stuff I haven's mentioned.
