1927 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup truck. Original 171 cu in 4 cylinder engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and runs strong. Manual transmission with recently rebuilt clutch, pressure plate and related mechanics. 2 speed rear end. Drivetrain operates correctly. Tires are almost new. Converted to electric fuel pump and 12 volt system with alternator. Headlights work but will require new switch. There are no tail lamps nor brake lights. Wooden cab with vinyl top. Custom wood bed is solid but could use another coat of polyurethane. We bought this truck to use as advertising for our restaurant and it worked well. Brought it out a couple times a year for local parades and such. We do not have the time to love it as someone should. Have driven the truck at speeds up to 40 mph but do not recommend this as it's a bone jarring experience. It's best driven at a moderate 25-30 mph. We added an original "aahoogah" horn that really gains attention. This is a decent restoration for a driveable vehicle...it is by no means factory correct or show quality. It gathers a crowd every time we bring it out! This truck is located in Hamilton, Georgia and is available for inspection. The truck will be sold with a bill of sale only as that is all the state of Georgia requires on a vehicle of this age. The truck is not street legal but that never stopped us for local events. The truck is for sale locally, so I will reserve the right to end the auction early should it sell. It is being offered here on EBAY without a reserve and is being sold AS-IS. Successful bidder must remit a $500 deposit within 72 hours of auction ending. Paypal is acceptable for deposit. Balance can be paid upon pick up of vehicle.
