This car is owned by the proverbial little old lady, 85 years young (my mother), who hasn't driven it in 2 years. It is located in St Cloud, Florida and I am selling it for her...I am here in Florida temporarily for a couple of more weeks until this and some other issues are resolved. I have the power of attorney to complete the sale. The car is being sold as is and the transfer must be completed within 7 days of the auction ending. She purchased the car in 2002 and quit driving in 2009.The car has been setting all of that time since then. To get it started I has to put in a starter cellinoid switch and it started right up. It has no tags so I couldn't drive it far, but I test drove it and it shifted smoothly and the engine runs very good and quiet. The history of everything done to the car other than normal maintenance which was done on a regular basis (except for the last 2 years): 2-11-08 R&R power steering pump 9-20-05 R&R ignition module and distributor 7-19-05 R&R window motor (driver's door), master switch, and repair door panel 8-23-02 Replace inner tie rod ends, repack wheel bearings, replace lower radiator hose, replace starter 7-20-?? Replace idler arm bushing (dry rotted) 8-05-04 Front brake service, repack bearings 9-13-04 R&R Dimmer Switch 3-26-05 R&R Oil pressure sending unit 1-19-06 R&R Water pump 9-7-05 Fuel filter replaced 8-4-06 R&R front brake hoses and calipers She maintained the car mechanically very well. These are things that have been done that should not be required again probably for a while. Things I found wrong that need work: Driver's side mirror needs replacement Rear window on passenger's side inop Rear door on driver's side will not open all the way from the outside --will from the inside. Manual door locks on the front doors did not seem to function but the electric locks work Antenna will not retract using switch AC appears to need charging Clock doesn't work The drivers side door panel really needs to be replaced The rear view mirror needs to be reglued back on the window There is one very small dent on the rear that I found Some of the paint is peeling on the center of the hood. The vinyl on the roof needs to be replaced This is everything that I could think to check and found. If you have specific things you want me to check, please ask before you bid. The body of the car is in very good condition, the it has good enough paint to prevent rusting except as noted above. The only rust I saw (without crawling under the car) is on the front door jams where there welding seams. It is hidden until you open the door. The car has a trailer hitch. The seats are in fair condition, no tears but there is some staining on the drivers seat - looked like she dropped some lipstick in the seam. I cleaned the car as best I could but it has been under a tree for two years and really needs a good power wash and a better vacuum. This is an old car that should be a piece of cake to restore to original condition with minimal work to the body.
