For Sale is a 1998 Ford Explorer 4.0 OHV V6 Auto 4WD (selectable) 191,XXX miles. THIS VEHICLE IS WRECKED! It is salvageable if desired (please read details), but would also be suitable for a parts car. It runs, it drives and has a CLEAR title. I have always maintained the vehicle but running only Motorcraft synthetic fluids in the drivetrain. Interior is in good shape, minor wear and tear. Here are the details: Drivetrain: 4.0 OHV V6 5R55E Auto Transmission Aftermarket Cylinder Heads Does NOT burn any oil Runs great for having 191K+ miles Trans is in descent shape, will need some TLC, its the original 5R55E..... Aftermarket LSD Rearend (I believe its a Auburn pumpkin) I had it replaced at around 125K after the original went out. Exterior: Involved in a hit and run Hit in the driver side front corner, broken grill, broken headlight, bent DS fender, bent bumper, bent hood supports (hood itself is ok), and (unfortunately) bent frame. THIS VEHICLE HAS A BENT FRAME! ITS NOT BAD BUT SHOULD BE STRAIGHTENED IF YOU DESIRE TO DRIVE IT! Bent right behind the rear upper control arm mount on the drivers side. The frame narrows about a inch or so behind the control arm and that is when it was bent. If you want pictures of the bend please let me know! I have been told numerous times that it is salvageable by frame shops. Factory roof rack (not installed) Interior: Blue cloth interior small tear in drivers side outside bulster minor wear and tear otherwise selectable 4WD on dash Aftermarket stereo is photos is not included, I can include a stock stereo if desired I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TOWING THIS VEHICLE.
