This car has been owned by my family since new it has always been running and has always been kept in top shape. Unfortunately last year someone ran into it while in a parking lot while the damage was not bad the insurance company totalled it and it now has a "Salvage Title". The left front fender, hood, grill and radiator are replaced. The damage did NOT touch the drivers door and even the A/C radiator was fine. The engine runs perfect 107110 original miles (rebuilt at 75K) and the engine compartment and under the hood has been detailed and painted. I also have NEW grill, grill surround, front bumper, carpet, bucket seat covers, windshield and rear glass. The car is 100% complete. The headlights were not even broken. I have taken pictures showing undented truck bed and the pictures in primer are current the ones showing the vehicle in White are included just to show you how well kept this car is. Now as far as RUST...This vehicle was built in Los Angeles and to my knowledge has NEVER been out of California. My almost finished project "1964 Chevy Chevelle El Camino" Body # VN 3492, Style # 64-5680. Car is equipped with 195 HP, 283 cubic inch, 2 Bbl carburetor Engine. It also has power steering, Powerglide transmission and working COLD air conditioner. The car is very drivable.....It also has 4 almost new tires. The car is currently registered and 2012 licensed in California in my name. The paint code is #936 which is "Ermine White" as you can see car is primer only needing final sanding, I believe to keep the maximum value it should be done in White, the interior trim code is #726-8 Red. . The car has body work done and is in primer, as shown. The body is extremely straight and floor pans are very solid. My family is the original owner of this vehicle so please ask any/all questions before bidding. One answer I do not have is why it does not have "Black Plates" :( While there is no reserve I have the car advertised locally so I may end the listing early. The engine is shiney and clean as well... This was not a quicky job they were cleaned and a good paint job was done...
