1970 Chevrolet Impala convertible. The front upper conrol arms have been redone, rebuilt and programed 700R4 transmission, new Quadra-Jet carb. It comes with a new KEE top(not yet installed), the roof rails have been professionallyt sand blasted, epoxy primered and painted with PPG silver. The hydrolic top system works ok but it hasn't been put back in yet but its a easy 15 min. job. It has a 307 sbc that runs great with plenty of power and no smoke. As far as rust it has some across the header panel on the front of the hood, around the fender wells as most will but the rockers and door jamb are rust free as well as the under side of the car. This is a complete car that just needs a repaint and some interior to be super nice,this is not a basket case project car. It does need a new gas tank which is currently availible in the after market sites. Short of the top not being on, you can drive it anywhere right now . The car has been professionally appraised in Aug. of 2006 and had been in a garage since then except for the last six months but still protected from the elements. The mileage is what is showing on the speedometer, how many actual miles is on a 41 year old car is anyones guess. Before it gets any real road time I would redo both the front disc and rear brakes for safety. They operate fine but I haven't been into them so I dont know exactly what shape their in, just in case you want to drive it home. I really didnt want to sell it but its one of two I own. The other one is one I have owned since 1975 and it was on a national car program.
