1978 Honda CB

1978 Honda CB750, the last of the good 750 SOHC's. If you're looking at this you already know what the "TT" & "Ton Up" are all about. Rear fender shortened 4". Gas tank recessed for handlebar clearance. Has inverted super bike bars. Large stock turn signals were replaced with smaller ones. I made the custom seat on the stock Honda seat pan so the stock hinges and lock still function like the factory. Just completed this bike last year so the paint is still in great shape. Tires are Dunlops with at least 80% tread left. Good Stuff: Engine starts good and runs smooth but needs to warm up for about a minute before motoring off, Paint is solid black acrylic enamel with gold dust pinstripes, bunch of stuff ventilated with lightening holes, custom fabbed aluminum exhaust hanger, passenger foot rest bracket shaved off left side, K&N air filters, Kerker 4 into 1 header, recent tune up, all electrics work just like factory fresh including the turn signal buzzer. Bad stuff: That annoying turn signal buzzer still works, I put a new clutch in this bike and cannot get it adjusted just right. It doesn't seem to release completely so it makes it impossible to find neutral at a stop light and it clunks into 1st gear like my old Triumph. Once moving it shifts fine. Also the front disc brake doesn't stop as well as I think it should. There are some battery acid blemishes on the Kerker header (see photo) Have clear title in hand. Send me any questions you have.
