Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Thanks for looking at my auction. I have decided to sell my 1999 Dodge Conversion Van. The Conversion was done my Mark III Luxury Vans & Trucks, this was the top of the line Conversion Van in 1999. It is extremely comfortable for travel. It has been owned by one family, originally purchased by my parents. They gave it to me hoping I would fill it with grandkids; however I need a vehicle with four wheel drive so I am selling it. Description: The interior of the van is outfitted with perimeter limousine lighting, as well as individual reading lights for each passenger. This vehicle seats up to 7 people in plush comfortable leather seats. The driver seat is a power captain’s chair. The front and middle passenger seats are also captain’s chairs. The middle passenger seats are easily removed and reinstalled. The rear passenger seat is a mechanized bench seat and at the push of a button, automatically folds down into a bed. This seat is also removable. For most of the time I have had the van, all of the rear seats have been removed and unused. The interior is in great condition. The van has never been smoked in, and has no unpleasant odors or pet hair. There are 5 overhead storage compartments built into the rear portion of the van. There is also front and rear heat/ air conditioning for each passenger, a television with remote (the TV sometimes shows in color, sometimes in black and white, I'm not sure why it does this). A six disk CD changer with remotes in front and rear, a built in air compressor with attachments for inflating tires, basketballs, rafts, etc...It had a VCR built in which I removed because I was using my Xbox (not included) to play games and DVD's. If I can locate the VCR it will be included. The only dent on the van is on the rear passenger side behind the bumper (see photo) otherwise the body is very straight and clean. There are a couple small chips in the windshield, all other glass is perfect. The windows feature privacy curtains, (two of them I removed, but will be included) The privacy curtains are ok for keeping out prying eyes, but not sufficient for keeping out sunlight, so I made thermal barriers for each window out of Mylar covered bubble insulation for all of the windows. (included) This vehicle runs great; no mechanical issues at all and I would not hesitate to drive this van any distance. I have outfitted the van for long distance travel, it has two spare tires and fuel storage for three gas cans (the rack is included, the gas cans are not). The check engine light is on. I took the van to the dealership on two separate occasions to have this fixed, each time they told me nothing was wrong with the van, and they reset the light. I then got a code reader so I could find out for myself why the light was on, but the code reader says there is nothing wrong with the engine. The dealership said it may be something wrong with the fuel cap. The light has been on for at least 40k miles, and I have never had an engine problem. The van is located in Big Bend National Park Texas where I work as a Park Ranger. You are welcome to come by and check out the van before bidding, and I would encourage you to do so. I am happy to answer any questions you have about the van. I would like $200.00 by PayPal within 3 days of the auctions end as a good faith payment for the vehicle which will be deducted from the total when the vehicle is picked up. I would prefer payment in cash in person when the van is transferred. I would be willing to drive the van just about any distance to deliver it as long as the new owner pays for the fuel and for me to get home, I would prefer to work out those kinds of details prior to the auction ending, but I am very flexible. I would also be willing to pick the new owner up at the airport, probably Midland Odessa, or El Paso, or the train station in Alpine. Clean Texas Title in hand. I have described the vehicle fairly and honestly, there is no warranty included with the van, please do ask questions or concerns that you have before bidding.
