Hi There!!! Please read entire description!!!! Up for auction is my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 Pickup. A little history first... this is absolutely the best vehicle I have ever owned. I bought it in 2001 with 40,000 miles on it and I am the 3rd owner. Right after I bought it, the check engine light came on, and I had the dealer install both O2 sensors. I never had another computer problem after that. I am a mechanic and keep everything in good shape. I have put new brakes, rotors, exhaust, and tires as it has needed them. Right now, it has new tires, a new u-joint in the one front wheel, and a new cat-back duel exhaust 2 years ago. This truck is almost ready to turn 160,000 miles and shows no evidence of need for anything. I really would not sell it, but I just bought a 2005 Ram with 4 doors which I need. There is a few small parking lot dents that I am pointing to in the pictures, and the roof needs repainted because the clear coat is falling off. There are about 3 small hail dents in the hood. The inside is clean and the only problem is the worn seat from getting in and out. The padding is still good, and I want to find a good seat at the salvage yard to fix this. If I do, it will be included with the truck. The 4 wheel drive works great, and the truck runs as good as it ever did. It does not use oil, unless you are on the interstate running 70-80 mph. This truck has mostly original paint with only some touch up work done here and there. There is no rust on the body anywhere, and it is still a sharp looking truck. The dash is still perfect, no cracks anywhere! I will want to keep the electric trailer brake controler. I will include a set of strap on mirrors for trailering. List of options... 4X4, class 4 trailer hitch, AM FM Cassette CD (CD don't work), Temp/Compass console(Compass does not hold callibration) Sliding rear glass, power windows, mirrors, automatic dimming inside mirror, door locks with remote, 5.9 360ci Magnum Engine, 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission with never a problem, 3.55-1 axel gears with posi rear, K&N Filter Charger, Duel cat back system, A/C (I recharge 1 can every year), Power steering and brakes. It has from the factory the entire towing package that includes the class 4 hitch, the trailer plug, transmission cooler and power steering cooler. New tires about 1 month old, bed liner and cover are both Mopar and is original to the truck. The cover shows age, but still functional. I made the cover so it hinges at the front like a trunk, and if you pull 4 pins, one person can take the whole thing off in a few seconds. If you are looking for a real workhorse, this is it. I pulled trailers and used this truck like a truck. But I never abused it and it has taken good care of me over the 10 years and 120,000 I have put on it. Please look at the history report that E-Bay has on this vin number truck. I have moved from PA, and have lived in several towns up there. It has a pretty impressive score for a truck almost 15 years old!!! The truck can be seen...by appt. 35 miles NE of Charlotte NC. Please ask any questions you have.
