Up for sale is 1985 Chevy shortbed that's spent all but one year of it's life in Alabama. Original fenders,doors, original everything and hasntn't been rusted out or fixed.Tap anywhere and you hear metal. Truck has a 6 inch lift and transfer case is gear driven instead of belt for more reliability and bullitproof. The motor was rebuilt at 90k along with the clutch. Has a nice pioneer cd player and a couple speakers behind the seat. Interior is nice but will admit not show quality like the rest of the body. Runs and drives great. The bed is flawless, the picture shows something dark at the front of the bed and thats just dirt from water setting for a couple days after it rained. I did take truck to car wash and then took pics but could look better hand washed and waxed. Former owner found it in Alabama and purchased it for $6700 and put $3000 in it. I suppose the lift and paint, he said paint wasn't bad but alot of paint chips. Tires are 90%+ and wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere. When I went to buy truck I told wife on the way to not say nice truck or anything so maybe I could negotiate a cheaper price, the guy raised garage door and she forgot and said wow that's a nice truck. I need to sell but don't want to. Can end early if I sell locally so bid early...Thanks Paul PS will help with transport in case of being shipped Also wanted to say when truck was brought to Indiana, the liscence branch employee must check out the vin. number and put down mileage and I guess she thought it said 87k but it was 37k. So mileage wasn't changed, she was just too big to climb in to see better.
