1991 TOYOTA LANDCRUISER FJ80... Full time 4Wheel drive with center differential lock. One of the most capable 4by's in existence. Land Cruisers have been proven all over the world and remain the top choice for relief agencies, search and rescue, and off-roading enthusiasts alike. This "Crusher" is a great starting point for a gnarly rock climber or take it as-is for the perfect hunting/work truck. The engine, drivetrain and four wheel drive system all function very well. It has a brand new battery, a new fuel pump, fuel filter, and a fairly recent tune-up. Probably about 75-80% tread left on the tires. Last spring a mechanic performed a compression test and all 6 cylinders were within manufacturers specifications. It has no significant engine or transmission leaks and starts up right away every morning. This vehicle spent most of its life in the southwest and was acquired at a DEA auction. It was garaged for the entire duration of this past winter and is basically rust free. The body is fairly straight but does have a few dents and dings and some oxidation on the hood. Mechanically this truck is sound. All window glass is in great shape though the tint has bubbled in a few areas. Lights and signals function properly. Power windows, door locks and a great heater. There are a few cosmetic and other minor things that will need to be addressed. The hood and rear door supports are shot. There are no 2nd or 3rd row seats, just the two in front. The front driver window needs a gear or something because it sticks going up and down. The front passenger window does not work at all. Both rear windows and the moon roof work fine. The window wiper switch is stuck on and needs replacement. The rear wiper arm is missing. The vehicle is equipped with A/C and last year it worked but needed a charge, I never had this checked. The heater works just fine. The stereo works but needs a new antenna. The seats are in fair condition. The power steering pump needs to be replaced. The vehicle title was listed as salvage due to the seizure by the DEA and has never been in an accident. The brake warning light is stuck on. The speedometer acts up occasionally and is about 10mph off. In my opinion the good outweighs the bad. This truck is ready for daily driving or that 4X4 project you've been waiting for.
