Vehicle Detail

THIS CAR IS BEING RE-LISTED ON EBAY DUE TO THE BUYER VANISHING AND GOING SILENT. PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ARE SERIOUS AND DON'T WASTE PEOPLE'S TIME. THREE WEEKS OF MY TIME WERE WASTED ON THE LAST AUCTION THERE WERE NUMEROUS BIDDERS AND IT WAS VERY ACTIVE, IT'S SUCH A SHAME THAT OTHERS LOST OUT......BUT THAT BEING SAID, YOU NOW HAVE A SECOND CHANCE. FURTHER TO THAT, I DROVE THIS CAR A FULL WEEK TWO WEEKS AGO BACK AND FORTH TO WORK AND IT RAN FLAWLESSLY 1969 Dodge Dart. Base model, stripped to bare bones. 225 Slant Six Engine (The Air Cleaner says, "Charger 225") Rubber floor mat floors, base seats base everything. It has a heater and an after market radio. Luxury features like sun visors and arm rests and door locks. All original, a few bumps an scratched. Some one put body side molding on the car which then was removed. You might want to put some on again. Has a dent in the front right fender and left rear quarter and the right rear door is a bit ripply. But it's all original down to the trunk mat. The side view mirror is after market and for some odd reason, it has a tinted windshield.....I'm thinking it was replaced once before because i can't imagine it came from the factory that way. No Reserve, as is....under Maine State laws and guidelines. I'll store for a while but then after 2 months, you get charged 120 dollars a month for storage. Thats just to encourage you to get the car out, I don't want to store a car years for a eBay buyer, it happened to me once before...never again. I paid an auto re conditioner to buff out the paint two weeks ago. It came out very nice. The interior is really nice shape, the Dash looks great and the steering wheel has zero cracks. No discoloration either. Look at the door jamb and the door frames and you only see original paint, no rust. I removed the rear seat and double checked the floor and it is still painted the color of the car, no rust. The seats them selves are beautiful...some very very slight fading but no rips or tears. It has the dog dish poverty caps but four wheel trim rings which are after market. The door panels in the interior of the car and door handles are fantastic. There's no plastic chrome which fades or peals, just play old vinyl and plastic all the same color. The metal portions of the interior door, on the top and bottoms are all spotless and match the exterior of the car. No scratches there. There are shoulder belts on the ceiling which I've never used and also clips on the bottoms of the seats to hold the seat belts in place rather than having them flop around while the car drives if they are unused. I thought that was a neat thing and had never seen them before. The belts them selves have a bit of fading but the latches and chrome look fantastic. I have receipts for almost 3000 dollars worth of work done to the car over the last 3 years by the previous owner. Complete brake system repairs....The car needs nothing to operate. The battery is one year old. If I don't sell this car here, I plan to take a road trip to Canada next weekend in it.....that's how reliable this car is. To be clear, this is a running driving dependable little car. It's been well cared for and needs nothing mechanically. All lights and options (it has none) work. It has standard brakes, not power, it's also standard steering, not power. The dash board it fantastic other than the installation of an aftermarket radio. The door panels and arm rests are great. There are no tears in the seat, only a little...and I really mean a little fading. The rubber floor has no tears or rips and looks great after armorall was applied. The insides of the doors have no rust. There are no rust in the doors...so in each rear quarter but very tiny and repairable. The chrome bumpers and front grill look fantastic. No pitting, they shine very nicely. The car has the original paint and if you wanted to car perfect, it wouldn't cost much to repair the minor dents and rust and do a repaint (keep it original is always my way though) I love driving this car and it gets attention everywhere it goes. This care comes with a State of Maine Title Letter. Maine doesn't issues Titles for vehicles older than 1990. This letter is recognized by all US State DMV's or Bureaus of Motor Vehicles as a Title. You then merely apply for a new Title in your State. The starting bid price is a price that you would have to pay for any running drivable car that was a late model car...this is over 40 years old....a steal at this price..........don't wait too long to bid because I reserve the right to end the auction early....If I don't see any interest here in the car, I might pull it and put it on Craigslist list instead.
