If you need an 4WD SUV to haul the kids and all there gear and want a 4-cylinder fuel mileage but just can’t deal with the look or size of a CRV or RAV4 then what I have here is something really special. It’s my quite unique and very hard to find 2000 Toyota 4Runner 4X4 with the indestructible 2.7L 4-Cylinder engine and 5-Speed manual Transmission. It’s a 1-Owner and in great shape, read on for a full description. Mechanically this truck is solid. 1-owner well cared for truck just traded in at Sloan Toyota of Devon here in Chester County, PA and where I purchased it wholesale. Starts and runs excellent, no smoke, leaks or funny noises. Transmission, clutch and 4X4 all work well with no issues. Brakes, tie rods, exhaust and lighting are all above PA specks and has a current PA inspection and emissions test until July/2011. The tires are all matching Firestones and have 90% tread remaining. Drives straight down the interstate and brakes stop well with no pulse or pulling. Oil and other fluids look great. Underside is a typical PA truck a little corrosion on the bolts here and there but no major rust. Wheels also show a little corrosion around the lug nuts. Absolutely no rust on the body. Fly in and drive this one home, it’s ready to go. Cosmetically also very nice. The body is very straight and nice. Paint all shines well and I couldn’t find any door dings, major scratches or damage anywhere. The only thing to mention is a rock chip here and there, this truck is well above average for being 11 years old. Windshield and other glass is in great shape, moldings and bumpers are also clean. The interior is average for the year. Seats, door panels, headliner and cargo areas are in excellent shape. The carpets have some discoloration here and there, the rear head rests are missing and it has a smell of smoke inside. No burn holes but it definitely was a smokers truck. All the power options including a/c and heat are working well. Overall this vehicle is in outstanding condition. Here is a needle in a haystack 4-Cylinder 4X4 5-speed manual 4-runner at a reasonable price. I looked on Autotrader and eBay and there aren’t many of these trucks available and with low mileage and 1-owner makes this truck the one to buy.
