Frame off restoration - RARE 1928 CHEVROLET - Capitol LP Series One Ton Utility Express flat bed truck. Clear Title, registered as an Antique in PA. Truck was restored over the past 7 years. Has new Ash wood frame for cab, and new wooden bed. Restoration kept original except for new hardware. Engine dismantled and reassembled, RARE dual port head magnafluxed and overhauled with new valves installed. Piston Rods re-babbited in2009, vacuum fuel pump tank-float replaced, carburetor rebuilt. Engine runs smooth with good performance. DRIVE A REAL PIECE OF HISTORY - NOT A REPRODUCTION. Vehicle is in good condition. Have history of restoration in pictures and all supporting documentation. Vehicle draws much attention - great advertising tool for any business!! NOTES: 1928 LP was first year for production four speed transmission, front wheel brakes and thermostat, was the last year for the four cylinder 171 Cubic inch engine and the only year of a larger dual port exhaust head with larger valves increasing the engine horsepower from 32 to 35.
