1984 Honda Gold Wing

This bike was running as recently as 2000, but then it got parked for about 5 years while its owner had other fish to fry. When we tried to restart it, it would crank but not fire. So far, so good ... but then my son offered to fix it. He took it to his place, disassembled it a bit, tried various things. And got distracted by other things. Last year we brought it back to our garage, still apart. I believe it to be complete, but I can't guarantee that. Also, back in the early 1990s it had an electrical fire in the dashboard. All the damaged components were replaced and put in working order at that time, but you can still see the cosmetic damage. Today it has a saddlebag with broken bottom mounts; we are including a replacement saddlebag (purchased a couple of years ago) in this sale. Mileage was 71,500 according to our 1993 title, but the odometer wasn't working then and hasn't worked since, so we've no idea about mileage. So ... it's the bike of a lifetime at an amazing price, if you're willing to fix it yourself. Or it's a wonderful parts-bike if you already have the Gold Wing of your dreams. We know we're not going to ride it again, and it needs to be out of our place. So bid, bring your trailer or truck, and make it yours!
