This is a very clean 2002 Pontiac Firebird that I bought 7 months ago. It hasn't been used very much since I bought it, less than 2500 miles. Lately the engine started to make a noise. I drove it to a mechanic and he said it could be either a bad hydraulic lifter, rod bearing or main bearing. My problem is I can't get anyone to work on it reasonably quick, as I'm going work overseas, so I'm going to sell it "as is". This would be the perfect car for someone more mechanically inclined than I am. After buying the Firebird 7 months ago I spent another $2500 (new windshield, changed half of the hydraulic lifters, tune-up, new brakes, repaired power window). I am hesitant to spend too much more on it, so my loss is your gain. The reserve price is low, only about half of what I already have invested in it. Please feel free to ask any questions, I'll answer them as best as I can. Also if you want to inspect the car, or have a local mechanic inspect it, that's fine. I will try to post a video of the engine running (if that is possible on eBay), but if not I can email one to you. This way you can hear for yourself the sound it is making. Note: there is a thin scratch on the driver's door and a small area that the paint peeled on the front passenger side spoiler (see pictures).
