Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1969 Camaro Z/28 Tribute that was totally restored 4 or 5 years ago. Car has about 7-8k miles on it since the restoration I believe. It started life as a x44 base car and is now dressed as a z/28 with Daytona Yellow Paint and black Stripes. It is a very nice solid body car. It has had Full quarters installed, front floor pan, trunk pan, tail pan, inner and outter wheel wells, door shells, trunk lid spoiler, fuel tank, fenders, fender wells, cowel hood, header pannel, valance panel, cowel panel, radiator support. Motor is a 1969 327 block thats been fully gone through bored .40 over and has flat top pistons. New pro comp cast heads intake 2.02 exhaust 1.68. New 650 holly double pump carb (manual Choke), Mallory distributer and Jegs long tube headers. Roller tip rocker arms, pro comp thumper series cam and lifters. Intake lift is .513 and the duration is 283. Edelbrock performer high rise aluminum intake and 4 core aluminum radiator. Transmisstion is a 1969 M21 munsie 4 speed with a new reproduction competition plus shifter. The interior is black and in good shape New Unisteer Rack and Pinion steering Has a new autowire wireing harness Rear end is a 12 bolt 3.73 Posi Richmond Has brand new wheels and tires with less than 500 miles on them. I think the rear wheels are 20s and the front wheels are 18s The original corvette rallys ome with the car as well. 3 of them have decent tires and one tire will need replaced. The door windows do not line up but from what I hear this is normal from first gen camaros. But who drives a car like this with the windows up=).. The car has 2 different leaf springs installed so it sits a little higher on one side. This also makes the front drivers tire touch the fender well when taking a really shape turn. Only on the one side though. Easily fixed by replacing the springs. I was planning on putting a 1.5 inch drop leaf springs but never got around to it. The heater doesn't work and and the thing you slide to turn it on is missing. This is a nice car but not perfect. Its a nice solid ride. I drive it quite often. Id give it a 7 out of 10. Looks great cruising down the road=)... I have new ceramic brakes for the front but I haven't replaced them yet. The front brakes are still good though. I just wanted to change them because of the dust. I have the right to end this auction at anytime because it is for sale locally. HERE IS A VIDEO OF THE FLAWS I did fix the exhaust though.
