Hello bidders! You are looking at a beautiful 1986 Honda TRX250R ATV! I am listing this for a friend who recently acquired this as part of a vehicle purchase. He has no use for it and even though I would love to buy it myself I prefer two wheels! If you are looking at this auction then you are most likely searching for one of these quads. You would also almost instantly observe the immaculate condition! As most know, finding these in original and unmolested condition is getting more and more difficult. I will let the pictures speak for themselves! No cut fenders, original decals, almost no paint worn from the frame or motor, I could go on and on. The only after market items that I noticed were the FMF silencer, DG front bumper, and the almost new Holeshot tires (the original parts are not available). This ATV runs and shift fantastic. Im not saying this bike is in mint condition but as the photos depict, it is in awesome shape! They typical wear items like brakes and sprockets all have lots of life left in them. I do not know when the fluids were replaced last so thats something the new owner might want to take care of right away. I have been working on and riding both quads and dirt bikes for over twenty years. I didnt spend a lot of time going over the quad but I can tell you that it was taken care of. The first thing I checked were the axle bearings and they are tight with no wobble. There is one bolt missing from the pipe heat shield. My friend fires this thing up in one or two kicks cold and he has almost zero time on anything like this. I know what these are worth in this kind of condition. That being said the reserve is set at a very modest and fair amount. There will most likely be a slight delay on any questions you might have due to having to relay through my friend.
