Please read the ENTIRE description below: I have had a lot of e-mails with questions that can be answered upon reading the ENTIRE description below...also, I have had more than a few e-mails asking if I will take less than the starting bid...NO, I will not. The reason I am ONLY asking at least $3300 is because there are a few issues with the car, (listed below). If the car was perfect, I would be asking--according to KBB, around $4500 to $5500. I encourage any potential buyers to come and test drive this car. Also, I encourage any potential buyers to look this car up on KBB.com and you will see I am starting the bid at $500-$600 BELOW the "fair" condition price. This car's condition, according to kbb.com, is somewhere BETWEEN "fair" and "good" condition... Someone just asked me about the date on the photos. I forgot to reset the date on my camera. These photos of this car are CURRENT and were taken last Sunday--05/08/11--(Mother's day- same day I started the auction). THANK YOU to that observant E-Bayer out there! These are CURRENT pictures!!!! - TEST DRIVES ARE ENCOURAGED! Hello - Up for sale is one of my Hondas, (I have 3- one too many, so I am selling this one). This is a 2001 Honda Civic LX 4-Door Sedan. This car features : Power windows, power locks, power side mirrors. Newer tires & battery. AM/FM radio-cassette-single CD player. SIPS gas! Rated at: 28 mpg city/35 mpg hwy! Automatic transmission - front wheel drive, cruise control. All lights, signals, horn work / NEVER been in an accident. / Very reliable, starts right up each and every time. I believe I am the third owner of this car, I bought it locally @ around 70,000 miles-now has a little under 162,000 miles. Always serviced and oil changes. 4 cylinder, 1.7 liters engine - front and side airbags. I just had the oil changed and professionally detailed - this car is CLEAN! You may e-mail me through E-Bay - or call me if you have ANY questions about this car. **** Marty - (309) 251-5379 This car is USED and not perfect, but very reliable and no body damage. - and GREAT on gas!!! - Everything works on this car with only the following issues... A few issues are: The A/C is NOT blowing cold....? Could need a recharge or something more....no guarantees if this is an easy fix or not- I am not sure, not a very big deal condsidering the age of the car. The SRS & Side Airbag light recently came on. This has happened to both of my other Hondas, and was not a big deal, I just took it in and they reset it, (for a small fee, of course). I looked up this issue regarding the SRS and airbag light coming on and found out it is VERY COMMON for the older Hondas and is not considered to be a big issue, it usually just needs to be reset in the cars computer memory. The front windshield has scratches from a bad windshield wiper that scratched it- does not obstruct the drivers view at all, so not a big deal, I just installed new wiper blades. A slight noise under drivers side at slow speeds, could be the brakes....? AGAIN- this car is used and not perfect, but I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere, I have been driving it back and forth to work because it is great on gas. I have a CLEAR title in hand and ready to be transferred to the new owner. This car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time and for any reason. Kelley Blue Book lists this car at $3800 in fair condition and at $4550 in good condition - so I am starting the auction at $3300 with a "Buy It Now" of $3800 - which I think is priced right for the condition of this vehicle. It is VERY CLEAN! Cheap, reliable transportation that is GREAT on gas! Keep in mind if you WIN this auction you WILL be the new owner- I do not tolerate non paying bidders and they will be handled according to E-Bay's rules-so lets not waste each others time- SERIOUS bidders only, PLEASE. - This is a great car for the price. This car is located in Morton, Illinois - Between Peoria, IL and Bloomington, IL - I-74 exit 102. I will not ship this car, it must be picked up and can be driven back to YOUR home, no matter how far away you live! Good luck and Happy Bidding, someone will appreciate owning this car! *** A Little revision to this auction: I changed the starting bid to $3300 with a "Buy It Now" of $3800 - reason being, I am not going to take the car to the Honda dealership to have the SRS and side airbag light turned off, I was told it is not a big deal and not worth paying the couple hundred dollars to have them diagnose, (which they must do), and then reset the computer. I lowered the price to take that into consideration. Also note the other issues I have noted above in the description. That being said, this car is considered somewhere between "fair" and "good" according to Kelley Blue Book. I will run this auction for seven days only and I will NOT relist it for a lower price if it does not sell. I will not take LESS than $3300, so please do not ask. If it does not sell before this auction ends, I will keep it as a back-up car to drive whenever I have one of my other cars in the shop. ****This car is being sold "as is" - but don't be alarmed by that, it is a good little car that is good on gas! On May-14-11 at 08:50:42 PDT, seller added the following information: 5/14/11: Someone just asked me if I think the condition of this car leans more towards "fair" or towards "good". I would say according to Kelley Blue Book, it leans more towards "good"--tires are newer and they all match. No rust and car is very clean. Free of any major defects. Clear title. I say it is BETWEEN "fair" and "good" to give the potential buyer the benefit of the doubt. The A/C is NOT blowing cold, SRS and side airbag light is on. Unknown slight noise under drivers side. I am thinking from a buyers standpoint and being conservative and saying it is BETWEEN fair and good, but I would have to say it leans more towards the "good"----according to Kelley Blue Book.
