NO RESERVE NO RESERVE NO RESERVE I am 62 and thought it would be fun to build a reasonably priced muscle car. My goal was to find a near perfect Fox Body Mustang with a known history and build the car up a little over stock I found this car in Ohio and there were two previous owners both who never abused the car and only used in summer. Second owner had it for 9 years. The car is in its original color Jalapeno red with original red cloth interior, black top and original vinyl boot cover and case. The options include AC, and Cruise. AM/FM Let me start with telling you about the car as I got it: 24,567 verified miles when purchased- No accidents and no body work other than paint- Has been repainted correct jalapeno ford color—great job--Ford E cam--New radio/cd and frequency control with safety plate—retracts when car is turned off—original speaker sites—nothing has been cut in---Shorty ceramic headers and real dual exhaust system-- March full pulley system== 8.8 rear end with 3:55 gear --Tires with less that 2000 miles-- Edlebrock performance intake manifold and 600cfm carb --Aluminum drive shaft -- Aluminum differential cover with support-- Aluminum radiator --OEM Ford hoses-- Cobra rocker and wheel arch plastic panels --All work done by certified Ford mechanic-- When engine out to do headers, pulleys entire engine compartment repainted to show quality--Absolutely no rust any where—not exaggerating—underside looks like a 1 year old car Since I purchased it last summer (HAVE ALL RECEIPTS): 25, 040 miles --All fluids (engine, dif, trans) replaced with appropriate Royal Purple products--Brakes flushed and adjusted--Edlebrock Performance aluminum heads and roller rockers--Ford racing valve covers to accommodate new rockers--Holley 650 cfm aluminum (red and billet) double pumper with braided lines, fuel pressure gage and Holley linkage--New plugs-- MSD billet distributor, master blaster coil and AL ignition box--Complete tune--Removed plastic rocker and wheel arch panels and had area repainted to repair where double sided tape was laid down--All modifications done by very experience mechanic To be totally upfront these are the car’s needs: Very small tear in top--Passenger window electric motor slow--AC is cool but needs to be recharged This car is immaculate for a being 26 years old—both shops that have worked on it are amazed by how clean it is outside, underneath and inside. Rhode Island does not require at title to register cars over 10 years old –only a notarized Bill of Sale- the State does not give new titles for cars over 10 years old. I have the previous owners Ohio title, copies of the BoS and a valid Rhode Island 2010-11 registration. I also have the following original old parts that will be included if the offer is sufficient: Intake manifold and carb (also have the 600cfm Edlebrock)--Header--Heads and rockers--Valve covers--Emission parts--Radio--Pulleys--Distributor Also have a set of 4 bolt Fitapaldi wheels produced by OZ Racing of Italy that I will include for an additional $400. These wheels were dealer options in the 80s and will really set the car apart from other Fox body Mustangs As I mentioned I bought the car to have some fun designing it but at 62 it is not quite a good fit and needs someone who will use and enjoy it. I live in Newport RI and the car is stored in Jamestown RI so please give me some lead-time if interested in seeing.
