Vehicle Detail
1969 uncut Royal Maroon Sport model 302 V8 motor Original 'on the column' 3 speed transmission Dana 20 four wheel drive transfer case Ford 9" 3:50 limited slip rear end Dana 30 3:50 front end Factory locking hubs Dual tanks Original Radio - works but needs a better antenna connection Factory Sport floor mat in pretty good shape Doors open close nicely - no hinge sagging Factory 'under-coated' truck - which explains the solid metal and lack of rust on this Bronco Mileage reads - 3,048 but only has the capacity of double-digit thousand, my guess in its condition, probably only turned once making it 103,048? The Bronco has had 3 owners and the previous owners being a father to son transfer. It spent most of its life stored indoors in the upper Sacramento / El Dorado area and used as a partial driver and deer hunting/scouting rig. The Body has some dings and scratches in the paint and some decent size dents on rocker panel but the overall body, body seams, wheel wells, door jambs, inner fenders, floor pans, and tailgate all are very clean and pretty much rust free. It is a pretty nice and straight Bronco for being 42 years old. The motor runs good, the trans shifts well and the Bronco drives nicely down the road at a comfortable 65 mph. You might have noticed in the pictures a roll bar, yes, the previous owner had one installed, it's a nice 4 point cage in the rear and has a nicely formed square hoop that circles the front cockpit area. The Bronco comes with a Wild Horses full length bikini top that snaps to the roll bar from the front all the way to the rear and has straps secure it to the center, kind of a neat added feature and puts you and your passengers croozin in the shade. The seats are worn under the seat covers but still plenty comfortable and all the material is there under the covers but I am also including a brand new pair of seat covers that will come with the Bronco. I have pictures of the seat covers and the full length bikini top if you would like to see them. A few of the negatives, these Bronco's have old style valve guide seals that get hardened over time and tend to seep after not starting the motor for awhile. Upon starting, the motor will burn a small amount of oil, just at starting though. So the Bronco has a nice, pretty much rust free body, but the hardtop got affected through its years of use and could use some attention. It is kind of a shame because the top is in good condition in Bronco terms but it got some rust damage in the very back lowers under the drip rail, kind of an odd place actually. Oh yea, a very slight exhaust leak from the right side exhaust donut(easy fix) and the drivers side door 'outer key lock' is missing the key way. Other then that, the Bronco is a pretty nice looking rig and people are always commenting on it. Before wanting to sell, I would always get notes on it from people looking to buy the Bronco. The paint is patina'd pretty good and has its share of scratches but overall it looks pretty sharp. The pictures make the Bronco look really nice and it is hard to see any of the scratches and dings, they are there, but like I said, overall it is a pretty nice looking rig. I have lots of more pictures that I can email, so if you have any questions, concerns on any of the conditions or would like to see more photo's of any areas, please ask! Tienes Suerte . . . On May-10-11 at 22:37:50 PDT, seller added the following information: A few people have been asking if there are any oil leaks and yes there is. No major oil leaks, but there are some and they look like they could be maybe the oil pan bolts in need of maybe tightening or an older oil filter gasket or maybe the common rear main but it is hard to detect where? The undercarriage is not all oily underneath so I wouldn't consider it a major problem but I do agree, it would be nice with zero oil leaks. I also just found in some of the paper work on this Bronco, a few new and or upgraded items that were installed around 95,000 miles on the odometer. The odometer now has 3,048, so I am assuming these were all done on or about 8,048 miles ago? 1. Rebuilt front end and replaced steering tie rod ends 2. New upgraded clutch 3. New Shocks 4. New CV and U joints in both drive shafts 5. New Alternator 6. New Timing Chain 7. New Water Pump and Hoses 8. Rebuilt distributor, new plugs and wires 9. New voltage regulator
