You are bidding on a rare, Australian 1976 Ford Falcon XC Coupe. I bought and imported this car years ago with plans to build a Mad Max Interceptor replica using the Mad Max body kit supplied by Mad Max Cars Dot Com. However, given several financial set backs, I am forced to sell the car. My loss, your gain. Make no mistake, the car needs a ground up restoration, as it has rust in all the typical places where Aussie Falcons get it. The a-pillars, window seals, rain gutters, lower fenders and rocker panels as well as a few other areas all have rust that will need to be repaired. Currently, the car is in my garage in Reno, NV, and the interior has been dismantled in preparation for a thorough media blasting that I never got to. The car has a 302 Cleveland V8 and a Borg-Warner manual gearbox. Before I dismantled the car, the engine was running strong. THE GOOD: The car is already here in the United States I have almost every patch panel needed for all the major rust repairs The car is complete, but many parts will need to be refurbished or replaced I have two sets of doors and two gas tanks Included with the car is an original XB Falcon Facory workshop manual, Max Ellery's Falcon Repair Book and How To Restore Your Falcon Book New Mad Max Correct Front Wheels and Tires I have a brand new pair of Mad Max correct front wheels with new BFG tires The price - my asking price is only slightly more than what it costs to import one of these Because I have too many other obligations, am selling it at a great personal loss When this car is restored, it will be worth A LOT of money THE BAD: The car needs a complete overhaul and restore Currently, the car is not running and will need to be towed I encourage any potential buyer to contact me for a personal viewing of the car, if possible.
