1973 oldsmobile delta88 royal brougham edition convertible 305 chevy engine (76 nova motor). Car is driven daily, engine runs great, new plugs and wires, mech.fuel pump, battery,tires, exhaust and mufflers, engine and engine compartment painted, car in primer all within last year. Has some bondo in rear and front quarter panels, trunk floor and some interior floor replaced (riveted) bed liner coating thru interior and trunk floors, underbody recently undercoated. newer gas tank, radiator, trans cooler, overflow tank, alternator( 160 amp ), belts, vinyl seat material, front suspension, shocks (rear air shocks) convt. top header brow with clasps. Every option for 73 includes trunk button in glove box, dual ash trays, climate control, map lights, 6 way pwr seat, clock, power windows, pwr antenna, tilt wheel, cruise control, shock absorbing bumpers, rear defrost back glass and original wirespoke hubcaps. Dash board not cracked, drive shaft needs lengthened, custom trans mount, no front turn signal housings, no pwr antenna (antenna in windsheild) no top motor or cylinders, top has two rips ones patched and one along side rear glass (does not leak). We had replaced with new parts over the last couple of years: new heavy duty 455 Olds radiator 250.00, new 2 barrel carburator 150.00, new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, new brake pads all the way around. New air shocks, new header brow 750.00 with clasps, new tires 450.00, new windshield 250.00. new gas tank 250.00. top with the rear defroster in the back glass was 850.00, the top does not leak, new battery was over 100.00, 160 amp altenator 150.00, And the list goes on, new fuel pump 25.00, New front seat vinyl (Ostrich tan) 100.00, new cassette stereo with mp3 port 100.00, new lengthened driveshaft with new universal joints just about an inch short of where it should be 250.00, he spray bombed it with white primer 100.00. We wanted it mechanically sound before the interior work, body work and paint. My son's first try at bodywork, he did well on the sheetmetal riviting packs and undercoating the floors, but not so well using the bondo on the rear quarter panels. We have over 5000.00 invested in this car. The engine starts quick and sounds great with no smoke at about 20 miles a gallon on the road. It vibrates at higher speeds because of the driveshaft being a little short. Shifts and steers great. No complaints really just needs to be finished up. We have 2- 12 inch sub speakers in a bypass box with led lights and mirros in the truck for an addition price if wanted. It is wired for subs and thumps. The car was originally yellow with a white top, then was painted red. Then we got it and put on the gold top to match the buckskin interior before primering it white.
