Original owner, bought new in 1997 and well taken care of it's entire life. Regular maintainence, oil changes, repairs etc.... You won't find a nicer towncar than this one. This car was bought by 2 old people, who now in their late 80's can no longer drive and their beloved possesion must be sold. Everything on the car works great. Cold a/c, car runs and drives nice, no known issues. The rear load leveller shock system has been replaced with conventional shocks and springs, so you won't have to worry about the saggy butt syndrome that most of these old lincolns have. Car can be driven anywhere, so feel free to fly in and drive home. Car is fully loaded like you would expect a luxury car like this to be optioned. The fornt seats have some wear, the back seats looks perfect. headliner is good, all door panels are good, carpet is decent. The paint is nice, but could use a good buff and wax. There is a scratch on the rear quarter behind the door, and aside from this small scratch, the rest of the exterior is very nice. Tires are in great shape, lots of tread, last year the ball joints and tie rods were replaced, and the car got new plugs and wires. On May-02-11 at 21:57:11 PDT, seller added the following information: This car was bought in Illinois while on a vacation in 1997 and was driven to south Texas a week after buying the car and has been in Texas ever since. The car is 100% rust free and extremely clean underneath. The car was always garage kept, and although Houston did have Hurricane Ike roll through in 2008, the car was in the garage and remained undamaged! The car has a clean Texas title.
