This car was previously owned by a friend and member of Calexico (a fairly well known band), he owned it for the previous 8 years and before that his father owned it. With fuel prices expected to take off I wanted to have a solid WVO candidate ready to go (this has not been converted) as I'm not interested in paying $5 a gallon! I have been searching for a 300TD wagon but they are tough to come by and this one was too good to pass up so I'd hoped I could make it work but it doesn't have the room I need. This is a VERY SOLID 300D, it has some issues but it runs very well, starts flawlessly and needs very little work to be in perfect condition. Convert it to Waste Vegetable Oil or drive it like it is and take advantage of the great ride, ample space and excellent mpg! I am including a video at the bottom so you can hear it start and so on, I do not want to misrepresent this 300D in any way so I did not wash it, clean it up at all or start it prior to taking the video. It needs a wash and while the paint is faded it's solid and may buff out nicely. 1985 Automatic Moonroof Power Windows Turbo 200,000 Miles The issues it has: AC not working Power locks not working Front tires are so/so Cruise is hit or miss Need a valve cover gasket one of these days (there is a small leak, nothing major) Moonroof not working Two of the side moldings have fallen off (they're in the trunk) as well as one of the seat backs and the post cover between the doors, nothing major but need to be put back on Odometer stopped working around when the last owner bought it 8 years ago, he had two other cars so this hasn't been used more then a few thousand miles a year since as he only drove it to shows when they were still a local band This is a normal 300D, slow off the line until it's warmed up and it shifts a little hard into first for the first 5 minutes Other little minor stuff along these lines.
