Vehicle Detail
Hello here is a 1967 Ford Mustang fastback 2+2 that needs restoration completed. It has been sitting in storage a few years and not finished. It has been put in primer and has a Shelby style rear deck and quarter extensions installed. The body looks pretty straight but will need some fine tuning before paint. Also needs a little finish work around rear tail light panel. It has a nice small block (not sure if is original) engine with a deep sump Moroso chrome oil pan, chrome Cobra valve covers, headers, and a vintage Edelbrock Torker 4V intake. Has an automatic transmission. Engine bay has been nicely covered with alluminum. Has front disc brakes and power steering. Comes with a 9" rear end with traction bars and sway bar. It has been sitting for a while and motor does turn over but did not try to start. I will try to get running before the auction ends and will update. The Magnum 500's pictured on the car are my sons and DO NOT COME WITH THE CAR, the Amercan wheels and tires pictured seperatley are the ones that came with it and they are the ones that will be sold in auction with car.It has a clear Indiana title. The frame rails all look to be really solid, only a very slight bubbling on rear rail right at back. The right side floor pan needs to be replaced and a new one comes with auction. It looks like it still has the original quarter panels. Someone has put a aftermarket console in it with a number of toggle switches (enough for an airplane) and some wood grain on the dash. Rear fold down seat looks pretty nice but the front seats need recovered. This car is being sold as is with no warranty. You are more than welcome to come and view the car before bidding. If you have any qustions please email me. Also if you have less than 5 feedback please email me before bidding (or I will retract your bid).,so I know you are a serious bidder as it is not fair to those who are and it is very expensive to list these cars on here and I don't like to play games. If you need the car shipped I know of a cheap transporter I can put you in touch with as all transportation fees are the winning bidders responsibility. A 1,000 non refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the auctions end and balance due in 7 days. You are more than welcome to leave the car set here with no storage fees untill you have found a transporter or you may come and pick up.This Fastback would make a nice Shelby, Eleanor clone or could go back original. There is NO RESERVE so you are bidding to own. Thanks for looking.....On May-05-11 at 17:43:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello just a little update, I did get it running today for just a few seconds but it will still need to be hauled as it is not driveable. Thanks and good luck......
