All original 2-owner car. Was purchased new at Clay Chevrolet in MA by elderly gentleman, who passed it to my friend, Eugene in 2004 before his death. Then Eugene died last year...I am selling the car for his widow. Car has been meticulously maintained. Original milage less than 60,000, verifiable through all receipts and history. Have tons of receipts since new. Have original Bill of Sale, MA registration from first owner, Bill of Sale to second owner in RI, and current RI registration. Due to car's age, a title is not required in RI...I have confirmed with RI RMV that they will not give a title for a car built prior to 2001. This car is in excellent original mechanical condition. Runs perfectly, brakes and transmission all work perfectly. No smoke or leaks...no surprises. Everything works as it should, including AC. All power, crushed velour seats. New battery. Original white paint still looks good and holds a shine. Rust free body and frame. Mininal surface rust on inner lower lip of rear doors was sanded and treated. I would trust this car to drive anywhere. Does have some dings as shown in photos. No reserve auction...best bid over $2,300 will take the car. Want to add some details...one guy who came to look at car must have been expecting a show car. Exterior looks great, all original paint, but does have a couple dings and rubber bumper trim is broken in a couple places. Interior in in beautiful condition, with original carpets and mats, but there are two cracks in dash, driver's side door pull handle needs securing and headliner sags. Engine bay is all original, showing a little surface rust, but all is functional. Exhaust would pass inspection, but has a little rumble...might be muffler. I try to be as honest as possible in a listing on the good, bad and ugly. Always suggest inspection, especially if you are a nitpicker. Car is for sale locally...just in case I have to end auction early, I don't want to upset anyone.
