1983 Suzuki GS1100E in largely original condition. These GS1100's are air cooled, inline four cylinder motorcycles with double overhead cams and four valves per cylinder that, despite weighing in at about 550 lbs, put out a reported 111 hp when new and could turn in the 11's off the showroom floor. The VIN number is indicated above and the motor number is GS110X158898. It is showing 37601 miles on the odometer. The motor appears to have never been out of the frame. Pretty much original except for the K&N air filters, the Vance&Hines four into one exhaust, and steel braided brake lines. The motorcycle does not appear to have ever been down, with only a few minor scuffs and road rash on the lower portions of the bike. The foot pegs are good, handlebar grips are good as is the seat and paint. Tires are in decent condition but should probably be chnaged for newer ones due to age. All the gauges and electrics work, except the battery charge light doesn't want to go off. The fuel tank is clean on the inside with no rust evident. Wheels, brakes, brake rotors and discs, chain, fork seals, rear shocks and control cables are all in good condition. Minimal corrosion on nuts and bolts. It has had an oil/filter change and service about a year ago. It runs a bit rough as it hasn't been ridden more than 200 miles in the past three years. I bought this GS several years ago with the intention of making a showroom example of an already exceptionally clean and original bike. For a variety of reasons, that is not going to happen anytime soon, so it needs to go to somebody that will ride it and appreciate it.
