We really DO trade cars and trucks on RV’s, and here’s an example. 6.7L Cummins 24v 6 cylinder turbo diesel 350hp / 610 lb-ft Six speed manual transmission Rear sliding window Shift-on-the-fly 4x4 with automatic hubs 15k slider fifth wheel hitch 82,000 miles NADA base trade-in value $21850 NADA base retail value $26050 MARYLAND STATE INSPECTED Cummins power. This truck will pull a HOUSE, and not even breathe heavy. I used to have an ’05 with the 5.9 diesel, and it would move mountains; I haven’t had a chance to really work this truck with its upgraded 6.7 powertrain, but everything I’ve read says it’s a super addition to the basic platform. More power, broader torque band, variable geometry turbocharger, and even CLEANER emissions. Just driving the 6.7 points out how much QUIETER it is than the 5.9 – I couldn’t believe it. And the best part is, this truck appears to be all stock – nobody’s monkeyed with the programming, or fuel pump, or injectors, or exhaust. It’s un-molested, and at 82,000 miles it’s just getting broken in. This is when you’ll start seeing REALLY good fuel economy, as the engine starts to loosen up. It’s in great condition overall, too. It’s the base ST trim package, which means you get indestructible rubber floors, nice cloth seats, all the gauges you could need, a single-disc CD stereo with aux input for your iPod, and manual a/c and heat. Everything you need, including cruise control and tilt wheel. I didn’t see any rips or stains inside the truck, and outside is in great shape as well. There are a couple dings in the hood and front bumper – I tried to get photos of them but don’t think they came out that well – and the bed has a couple scratches here and there, mainly the drivers side and rear corner, but nothing major at all. I didn’t see any body rust at all. It doesn’t look like this truck was ever abused or used as a “work truck”, and it seems to have been well taken care of. It does have a 15,000lb fifth wheel slider hitch in the bed, which you can remove by pulling 4 pins so you can use all of the bed for cargo when you’re not towing. There’s also a trailer brake controller and a factory receiver hitch under the bumper. The tires are about 50% but all still have good, even wear on them. If you’ve been looking for a nice Cummins, this could be the ticket. We got it on trade with a fifth wheel when the folks moved to a motorhome; the fact that they got rid of the truck with the fifth wheel just backs up the overall condition and the statement that it was NOT a work truck. If they were using it for more than just pulling the trailer…they probably would have kept it. Beckley’s RVs isn’t warranteeing any of the truck, but it does carry the balance of whatever factory warranties are still in effect. We can also sell an interested buyer an extended warranty plan if they like, but that’s up to the buyer. And we HAVE done the Maryland inspection, so it’s ready to hit the road and start pulling…well, pretty much whatever you can hook to it! Thanks for taking a look at our auction!
