Hello......This is a rust free Benz 300SD from Las Vegas. I purchased it last summer with the intentions of turning it into a veggie car. These cars are about the easiest cars to convert because they will run on straight filtered used fryer oil with no modifications. In cold areas like Michigan you need to keep the fuel warm enough to keep the oil fluid enough to operate the injector pump. I saw a great idea on the web where someone had a tank mounted in the trunk and it recirculated the fryer oil to keep it warm. It also had a toggle switch inside allowing it to be switched between diesel and veggie. I am going through a divorce and it has to go so here are the details: -It has newer BFG TA's w about 6/8k on them. It needs the front right outer tie rod end replaced but it can be driven fine and no abnormal tire wear. I replaced 1 rear drive 1/2 shaft because the old one had torn boot and went bad. You can see from 2 pics that there is a dent in the lower rear pas. door (could most likely be popped out through door panel) and the drivers front fender. I backed into it w my big tall 4x4....yep. what a dumb a@%! -Climate control, lights, fog's, turn signals, wipers, sprayer, sun roof all work. Turn signal cancel broken, cruise cont broken, only drivers window operates the rest need new switches. Trans vacuum solenoid needs replaced/adjusted because it shifts hard into 2nd and hovers when going into 3rd unless you let off the gas. Odom broke about 10k ago. It has around 160K verified by previous owner's mechanic....you can also look in the oil fill and see how nice the cam lobes are. Car runs and handles great. Very tight on the road. I have driven this car on a trip over the winter 1200 miles round trip. Ran perfect and had great mpg. Interior has typical dash cracks and some seat leather cracks. I have a plastic dash cover that comes w it. Old Blaupunk radio works. Both power seats work. Vacuum locks don't work -Motor and turbo run EXCELLENT! no oil smoke great boost and awsome power. Typical Benz diesel oil leaks around oil pan.-New starter, belts and fresh oil change. This car can be started and driven anywhere. It is completely rust free and It has only seen one winter in it's life.
