This is a rare, one owner European version car as it was produced for the Swiss Embassy. Color code is 460 dunkelrotbraun (dark red brown). The interior is Woll-Velours "Streifen" code 935 Beige. The car is in excellent overall condition inside and out. This car has not been taken apart and restored. It is an original car. It has the original interior which in nearly perfect with an excellent body. The story behind the car is that it was driven sparingly in Switzerland till 1988. Brought over to the Swiss embassy in the US. It was stored in 1991 in a garage in Rhode Island and not used till 2005. The gas tank, fuel pump hoses, air bellows and various other items were replaced then. We purchased the car as is and drove it a short time and stored it. The car has rare options; driver seat has lumbar support, rear headrests and sunroof. It is difficult to find velour cars in this condition. There is no sagging in the velour or seat bottoms. The wood has not been refinished and is in excellent condition. The body of the car has overall excellent paint. The has prior paintwork on some panels but overall it is excellent. There are no rust holes or perforations. The car is very solid as shown in the pictures. Rocker panels, wheel arches are all solid as shown. All of the chrome is without any pitting. The critical part the rear license plate light on the European bumper is perfect with out any pitting. All rubber seals are excellent. The books are provided. The mileage stamps in Kilometers on the driver door a pillars are correct. Records were not provided to verify this. We have removed the valve cover to inspect authentic engine wear. The engine is like new as shown in the picture to verify low mileage. The car starts up and runs perfectly. The car has minor imperfection in the paint, will need tires since they are original Michelin XVS made in Germany. The exhaust will need replacement. The air valves are original. Original decals and "engine break in decal on windshield are still intact . Title is a Rhode Island registration only. The registration transfers over to the new owner. The Reserve has been set low.

1971 300sel 3.5 with original 25833 KM. This is a rare, one owner European version car as it was produced for the Swiss Embassy. Color code is 460 dunkelrotbraun (dark red brown). The interior is Woll-Velours "Streifen" code 935 Beige.

The car is in excellent overall condition inside and out. This car has not been taken apart and restored. It is an original car. It has the original interior which in nearly perfect with an excellent body.

The story behind the car is that it was driven sparingly in Switzerland till 1988. Brought over to the Swiss embassy in the US. It was stored in 1991 in a garage in Rhode Island and not used till 2005. The gas tank, fuel pump hoses, air bellows and various other items were replaced then. We purchased the car as is and drove it a short time and stored it.

The car has rare options; driver seat has lumbar support, rear headrests and sunroof. It is difficult to find velour cars in this condition. There is no sagging in the velour or seat bottoms. The wood has not been refinished and is in excellent condition.

The body of the car has overall excellent paint. The has prior paintwork on some panels but overall it is excellent. There are no rust holes or perforations. The car is very solid as shown in the pictures. Rocker panels, wheel arches are all solid as shown.

All of the chrome is without any pitting. The critical part the rear license plate light on the European bumper is perfect with out any pitting. All rubber seals are excellent.

The books are provided. The mileage stamps in Kilometers on the driver door a pillars are correct. Records were not provided to verify this. We have removed the valve cover to inspect authentic engine wear. The engine is like new as shown in the picture to verify low mileage.

The car starts up and runs perfectly.

The car has minor imperfection in the paint, will need tires since they are original Michelin XVS made in Germany. The exhaust will need replacement. The air valves are original.

Original decals and "engine break in decal on windshield are still intact .

Title is a Rhode Island registration only. The registration transfers over to the new owner.
