Vehicle Detail
Beautiful 1966 Corvair Monza Coupe Up for your consideration is this stunning Marina blue 1966 Corvair Monza coupe, serial # 105376L106542. This Corvair Monza is in great condition and has the GM horizontally opposed air cooled 110 hp 6 cylinder motor connected to a powerglide 2 speed automatic transmission. This car looks wonderful as you can see from the many pictures supplied. It has a fresh base coat clear coat paint job in the original color of Marina Blue. The interior is all black and is in excellent condition. Almost the entire interior is new with the exception of the door panels and dash pad. This Monza is also equipped with a nice set of 14” red ring radial tires and the very hard to find mag type wheel covers that really give this Corvair a sporty updated look over the regular and plain looking Monza hubcaps. This was an original California car that moved late in life to South Carolina so it’s extremely solid and never been exposed to poor weather or road salts. The odometer is working and showing 93K miles but the SC title lists the cars mileage as being exempt due to the laws in SC. Mechanically, the car runs and drives great for a 45 year old classic Corvair. The brakes are straight and solid, the steering is without play and the motor runs great without any smoke or hesitation. This beautiful Corvair is also equipped with a new Clarks dual exhaust system which makes the motor sound wonderful. This car looks, runs and drives fantastic and seems to get the attention everywhere you go. With our current economy, the collector car market can be a great place to invest your funds for future growth. If this collector car is kept in its current condition, it should do nothing but increase in value. To sum it up, this is a very nice 45 year old collector car with solid floor pans, trunk pan and the body shows no signs of dents or scratches anywhere. It has new weather strippings and the interior is extremely nice including the dash, carpet, door/rear side panels and seats. The car has factory tinted glass and everything on the car works as it should. I believe this car is and will be an excellent investment opportunity while also being an enjoyable piece of history that you can drive and enjoy turn key. This Monza Corvair belongs to and is being sold by a friend of mine that has asked for my computer help advertising it on eBay.
