For auction is my 1987 Maserati Biturbo 425i. Vehicle is currently smogged and registered in California As you can see in the photos, this Biturbo was well maintained. The leather in the interior is extremely luxurious and supple. This is all original - no dyes or paint. The exterior paint is still the original glossy black. The paint has been hand polished quite often and the car was always stored inside. This particular model was purchased with power steering and a sunroof. It was only driving on an average of 4,800 miles per year. This engine is absolutely immaculate. A compression check and leak down test was performed on the heads with no problems found. The engine is clean from regular maintenance from professionals and NOT from power washing. There are no leaks. Maintenance Performed Only 150 miles ago: Valve Adjustment New Timing Belt Clutch Replaced Rear Seal Pilot Bearing Replaced Passed California Emissions These cars are equipped with a 2.5L, V6 engine, Twin IHI Watercooled Turbochargers along with two air-to-air intercoolers! This very light Biturbo has a maximum torque of 220 lbs/ft. At 3000 rpm with 192 Horsepower at 5,500 rpm! Now that will pin you in the seat. I already own several Maserati so I need to let this on go. This Biturbo 425i always starts on the first attempt, no matter how cold. There are a few fissures on the front windshield, but would not bother to replace it (see photos). The installation is never as good as the original. The paint is beautiful and very straight (no orange peel texture here). The paint is original, so of course there is normal wear, and some scratches here and there. There are several door dings on the passenger side. They are very hard to see in the photos. Lastly, there is NO RUST except some bubbling around corner passenger rear side window and the drivers side Maserati emblem (see photos). This Maserati Biturbo 425i is extremely rare in this condition and reasonably priced. Its very fast. In fact, you will not find a faster sedan or coupe for the price!
