For sale: 1969 Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe-SS-396 THIS CAR IS BEING RELISTED DUE TO AN IRRESPONSIBLE BIDDER NOT KNOWING WHAT BUY-IT-NOW MEANS!!! I purchased this car in 2008 from a local seller. The car is an original V-8 powered car that was produced in Kansas City, MO plant. I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS TO BE A TRUE SS CAR as it has the th-350 and 3 core raditor instead of the BB-4 core. in 1969 some 86,000 Malibu's were ordered with the SS-396 package but without documentation it's hard to say for sure. Car currently sports 454BB/TH 350 column shifted with 2500 stall mated to 12 bolt and 3.73 gears. Engine has headers, 4 barrel Q-jet, HEI ignition, chrome valve covers, air cleaner and oil pan. Car has 2.5" exhaust from headers to dual flowmasters that sound awesome. Car has excellent lemanz blue paint with white side stripes and all correct emblems. Car also sports the original ss mags with great 225-70-14 tires. Car has new springs and shocks and rides like a car of today. This chevelle also has new interior including seats and belts and carpeting all in black as well as new grant woodgrain steering wheel. Car also has new fuel pump, all new fuel line as well as new 20 gal tank. This car is extremely fast and yet when driven sensibly gets 15mpg I have actually got 16.5mpg out of this car which i feel is great especially in these times. The body is in excellent condition overall except for a couple of bubbles on lower corner of drivers door with no rust through. This car is always garage kept and only driven on warm sunny days and rarely at that. Car needs a radio and horn, some minor wiring and the new headliner installed. This was a nice optioned car as it had ps, disc brakes, air (missing compressor) and astro ventilation as well as tilt wheel and cruise control. I really hate to sell car but I recently underwent a major operation and the medical bills are piling up. Because of this Please don't contact me regarding trades as this will not help my current situation. Car does have current WV state inpection sticker. Car has a clear WV title in my name!!! I have numerous parts that will go with car, and also have the original GM 1969 parts and service manuals and fischer body manuals for car and an original owners manual which were not cheap !!!
