1974 Honda CB450 Cafe Racer. Fitted with '76 CB500 engine. Runs and handles great. Very reliable and in regular use. 500cc engine drops straight in this frame and is identical to the CB450 but with a longer stoke and slightly lower compression ratio. Much more torquey than the 450cc and pulls higher gearing than stock. Engine is in excellent shape and very quiet. This is a fairly bare bones cafe racer, not a show bike. Kickstart only ( spare starter motor incl), hard suspension, no turn signals, ignition is by a simple toggle switch. All lights, horn etc work. Brand new battery, recent chain, sprockets and brake pads. Again this is no show bike- paint on the tank is OK but not original and has a few chips and scratches. Tank has some filled dents which are visible under the paint. Chrome on shocks and rims is chipped and pitted. Tires are old and worn and should be replaced. Otherwise no real issues, everything works well and in good mechanical condition. Auction includes spare working speedo, cables, chain guard, starter motor and chain, 500cc cylinder and pistons and a few other odds and sods. Clear FL title in hand. If you are not familiar with vintage motorcycles keep in mind this bike is over 35 years old and is not the same as owning a modern machine.
