Vehicle Detail
Retiring! Selling my work/daily driver. F250 standard cab 8' bed, I've owned this truck for nine years, It was used primarily as transportation To and From work, not as a dedicated work truck. Unmolested 7.3 Turbo Diesel producing 225 HP rigorously maintained, has never left me stranded, or in need of transportation. E4OD heavy duty four speed transmission with 373 rear gears. The transmission was reworked and upgraded 130,000 mi ago (1992), performs beautifully, good firm shifts. The Diff. with 373 gears, is a good mix of low end grunt and highway drive ability. At 1900 RPM's = 70 MPH. I've driven to central Florida and back four times over the years and would get 20 and 21 MPG. Expect 16 to 18 on average. "E" rated Michelin's all around, 2 are New, as in less than 500 m. the others have 60 to70% tread left. "Cold" AC. and well above average interior, other than a split in a small panel in the dash, the interior is extremely nice and all in tact, that dash panel is still available. Listing as a work truck, there's a handful of nicks and scratches, some on every body panels. The passengers front fender was replaced and painted, "fender bender". The tailgate is NOT original. The original was stolen years ago.Very good driving manners, the front end has been maintained and parts were always replaced when needed. The whole truck has been constantly maintained, synthetic oil with filters every 4-5000 thousand miles, along with fuel filter. Transmission fluid and filter every 30,000 miles, Diff. at 50,000. Never used as a Hauler of tow rig, a 2000lb utility trailer with yard waste to the dump is the full extent of it's drive line abuse. Recent State inspection, "DE". Every thing works as it should, Every light, fan, horn, switch, nob, handle, crank, blower, window and button. NO RESERVE // The sole reason for re listing and going with no reserve is that the original top bidder was with in spiting distance of it at the end. So I'm proud of my truck, shoot me. When the next owner has racked up 50,000 more mile with little to nothing more than normal maintenance, I wouldn't expect him to have less than a bias opinion of his truck either. So as before if interested? or need more info. give me a shout. Thank you for looking and Good luck bidding Bob On Apr-28-11 at 03:40:54 PDT, seller added the following information: I've been asked about any "Rust", door bottom's show light rusting no holes as of yet. It's at a point that's it is still easily addressed. Other than that and the tail gate, there's No bubbling from underneath, the typical light surface rust on unpainted under body parts. Above average, considering age and geographic location.
